In an email to the editorial office, the Reader wrote:
The company closed the exit from 1000-lecia Avenue today [June 25 – editor’s note], and there is not a single sign indicating that the road is impassable, showing restrictions, or providing information that reconstruction work is underway, etc. Cars are driving as usual and, just before the construction site, near the school, they turn around and return to the city. I believe this is not normal.
We asked Konrad Antkowiak, spokesperson for the Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei, for comment. We will publish the response as soon as we receive it.
