The planned kindergarten is to be built using modular technology on plots of land at Astrów Street and Różana Street. It is estimated that approximately 125 children will attend the planned kindergarten. In addition to areas for children’s education and activities and general-purpose areas (administrative, auxiliary and service areas), the designer is to include a multipurpose room intended for play, gymnastics, rhythmics, therapeutic activities and ceremonies attended by parents. The facility is to include a playground and the possibility of organizing outdoor events with sound equipment (fairs, picnics and artistic reviews). The materials used are to be durable, aesthetically pleasing, safe for children and resistant to damage; the ceilings and walls in the designed rooms should be made of sound-absorbing materials.
All rooms are to be located and connected with one another in such a way that they can perform their functions as optimally as possible while ensuring user comfort. The building is to be adapted for people with disabilities. The construction of the facility is intended to provide an opportunity to implement all possible technologies and measures related to environmental protection. The facility is planned to be functional, using energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies, including renewable technologies.
All design work is to be completed by mid-October this year so that appropriate funds for the construction of the kindergarten can be secured in the city’s 2019 budget.
The value of the agreement signed with “PIK” is PLN 84,734.
