The monument commemorating the millennium of the Baptism of Poland stood in the square by the PKP railway station in Bolesławiec. It stood there until Monday, March 19, when it was dismantled.
Why? Its technical condition was disastrous. Those who were attached to the monument can rest assured. The “Światowid” will now be renovated by the outstanding sculptor Mateusz Grobelny.
After the renovation, the work will be placed in another location in the City of Ceramics. For now, however, it is not known exactly where. More:
