We have reported on the matter several times. Residents of the building at Starzyńskiego Street (stairwells 4b and 4a) are living in constant fear. One of the women living there allegedly threatened her neighbors twice, saying she would turn off the gas and blow up the apartment.
After the first report, which took place on Sunday, February 11, firefighters immediately evacuated the residents. After the second report (February 13), having already familiarized themselves with the situation, the officers first conducted a reconnaissance. No threat was found.
On Wednesday, February 14, firefighters received yet another, third report of a similar nature. At the scene, however, it turned out that the resident in question was probably in hospital and could not have threatened to blow up her apartment. The call was classified as a false alarm.
Apparently, someone decided to make fun of the whole situation. Whoever did it is an extreme idiot and could go to prison. The firefighters will refer the matter to the police.
Neighbors claim that the woman lives alone, does not pay rent and takes drugs. And she threatens them. They are afraid that one day—whether consciously or unconsciously—she may actually cause a tragedy. They are asking for help before the worst happens.
Residents of Starzyńskiego Street add that they have already notified the housing cooperative about their situation. According to what they told us, the cooperative threw up its hands.
As junior brigadier Piotr Pilarczyk, deputy head of the Bolesławiec District Headquarters of the State Fire Service, told us, the situation is difficult because the officers simply cannot disregard such a report. When firefighters received the report from the “joker” on Wednesday, they were handling other interventions and had to redirect their forces.
Update
“The matter is currently being handled by MOPS in Bolesławiec, and the cooperative has declared all possible assistance within the scope of its authority,” Beata Ślęzak, head of the Bolesławianka Housing Cooperative, told istotne.pl. “Due to personal-data protection, no other information may be provided.”
We will certainly return to the subject.
