Work to remove architectural barriers at the district hospital has been completed. Two toilets in the pediatric ward and one in the obstetrics ward have been adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. Thresholds were removed from the bathrooms and wider doors were installed, while the floors were covered with anti-slip tiles.

Sinks, toilet bowls and special grab rails were installed in the hospital toilets. Meanwhile, the bathrooms in the gynecology and pediatric wards were equipped with shower stalls fitted with shower trays, shower mixers and folding seats. According to officials from the District Starosty, the modernization work will significantly improve the comfort of hospital patients.

The investment cost more than PLN 100,000. The district obtained nearly PLN 55,000 from the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons, while the hospital covered the remainder.
