A reader wrote to us again regarding the road signage on the route from Warta Bolesławiecka to Bolesławiec:

The road is narrow, and traffic is heavy in poor weather conditions [...]; after 5 p.m., driving a car is difficult. Where the road shoulders have been marked, but only after fatal accidents last year, I see a significant difference in driving comfort.

The woman would like the road to be marked even better. We asked Konrad Antkowiak, spokesperson for the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service, for comment:

I would like to inform you that DSDiK in Wrocław is preparing a tender for new permanent traffic organization on voivodeship road no. 363. The new traffic organization includes, among other things, changing the locations of and replacing road signs, new pedestrian crossings, and modifications to the road’s horizontal markings.

The spokesperson added: “The implementation of the new traffic organization project is intended to improve the safety of travel along the voivodeship road.”

We will certainly return to this subject.
