Below we present a letter from the secretary of Bolesławiec County Radosław Palczewski:

In accordance with the resolution of the Bolesławiec County Board, we have begun changes to the organisation of the Bolesławiec District Office. These changes involve moving the seat of the County Board, along with several departments, to the building at 12 Armii Krajowej Street. In the near future, the building at 2 Marshal J. Piłsudski Square (the so-called round building) will house the Bolesławiec County Family Support Centre and the County Building Supervision Inspectorate. Nevertheless, sessions of the County Council will continue to be held there, and the Crisis Management Office will also remain there.

By the end of January this year, the Bolesławiec District Office building at 12 Armii Krajowej Street will become the new seat of the County Board, including the Bolesławiec County Head, Deputy County Head, serving Board Member and County Treasurer (3rd floor), as well as the workplace for the departments previously remaining in the round building: the County Authorities Office, the County Budget Department (3rd floor) and the Environment Department (1st floor).

The changes caused by the move have also necessitated changes within the building itself. Thus, the Architecture and Construction Department (previously on the 3rd floor of the building on Armii Krajowej Street) will be moved to the 1st floor of this building (entrance A), while the District Office’s Finance Department (also previously on the 3rd floor) will be moved to the 1st floor. The Social, Civil and Health Affairs Department will also change its location, moving from rooms 101–102 to rooms 109–110.

We realise that the changes introduced may cause some confusion in the short term. I assure you that we will make every effort to ensure that everything proceeds smoothly during this brief period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and ask for your understanding.
