On a holiday evening, a dozen or so drivers came up with the idea of organizing a drifting competition, a reader told us. They chose the car park by Tesco on aleja Tysiąclecia in Bolesławiec. It did not happen. Police officers interrupted the fun that was meant to take place in a public area. The fans of controlled skids left the lot and probably drove somewhere else to have fun.

In the comments below our article, as well as on Facebook, participants in the gathering said that nobody had intended to drift. It was simply a meeting of car enthusiasts. It was peaceful because nobody made any noise. Our reader's information and the report to the police had been exaggerated.
