The Jakże Osobiste Account is a completely new take on everyday banking—an updated product in the Alior Bank offer. What are its main advantages?

– The Jakże Osobiste Account is an offer that allows customers to choose their benefits independently. Customers know best which banking features and services they want to use and when. We give them the freedom to choose solutions tailored to their needs—the elements of this offer can be changed, added or cancelled at any time, in a very simple and intuitive way.

What costs are associated with such a tailor-made account?

– The holder of a Jakże Osobiste Account does not pay for two selected benefits, while each additional one costs just PLN 3.50. With the account parameters selected appropriately and standard conditions met, the Jakże Osobiste Account can be completely free for the customer.

What are these standard conditions?

– In every bank, two fees are always key: the account maintenance fee and the debit card fee. In the case of the Jakże Osobiste Account, the customer may be exempt from both. It is enough to make a one-time payment of at least PLN 1,500 into the account during the month and make cashless transactions—in simple terms, pay by card—totalling at least PLN 300 per month. People up to 26 years of age are also exempt from the account maintenance fee.

What about other fees, such as those for transfers or cash-machine withdrawals?

– All standard domestic transfers in złoty made online are free. The bank also charges no fees for issuing a card for the account, transactions using the BLIK system or using Alior Bank’s own cash machines. Free withdrawals from all cash machines throughout Poland are also available, and this is one of the benefits customers can choose.

What are the other benefits and the fees associated with them?

– There are currently nine benefits in the offer, which customers themselves identified as the most important to them through extensive research and consultations. As I mentioned, the bank does not charge for two selected benefits, while each subsequent one costs PLN 3.50. They include conveniences such as the aforementioned free withdrawals from all cash machines in Poland, as well as free withdrawals from cash machines abroad, higher interest on a savings account, an overdraft with no interest for 10 days per month, a 1% cashback on phone payments, travel insurance abroad, and the Mastercard Priceless Specials loyalty programme, in which points can be collected and exchanged for attractive rewards. Customers also have access to assistance insurance and a package of five free instant transfers. Benefits can be modified freely in the new online banking service and mobile app, and newly selected benefits mostly start working from the following day. The list of benefits for Jakże Osobiste Account holders will be continuously expanded by Alior Bank. Alior Bank’s new personal account seems to be a flexible and easy-to-use solution.

Where can such an account be opened?

– The Jakże Osobiste Account is a basic account that forms part of our bank’s “Digital Rebel” strategy. Its idea is to respond to the needs of customers who increasingly want to use modern banking services. The account can be opened by submitting an application through the bank’s website or in the traditional way, at our branch, which I warmly invite you to visit—we will clarify any doubts and help you through the entire process.
