The event will take the form of a team sports competition. The participants—amateur four-person teams made up of adult competitors—will assemble 1,500-piece jigsaw puzzles. In addition to championship titles and trophies, the winners will receive prizes in kind.
The aim of the competition, which will take place on 28 February 2009 at 5:00 p.m. in the conference room of GOKiS in Kruszyn, is to popularize puzzle assembly as an attractive way of spending free time and to develop abilities such as patience, perceptiveness and teamwork skills. Teams representing institutions, companies and private individuals may register.
GOKiS asks all teams interested in taking part in the marathon to register as soon as possible, as the number of places is limited. Participation can be registered:
- by telephone or fax: 075 732 14 77
