The Bolesławiec County Office invites county residents, schools, non-governmental organizations, parishes and institutions working with volunteers to nominate people, companies or organizations they would like to thank for their selflessness, commitment and kindness. Once again, the Volunteer of the Year of Bolesławiec County competition is being launched.
This honorary title will be awarded to those who stand out in volunteer work in various areas of life—culture, sport, social assistance, health promotion, ecology, tourism, activities for people with disabilities, etc. The competition is held in four categories: adult volunteer, youth volunteer, non-governmental organization and donor.
Applications must be submitted by November 10 this year. at the County Office headquarters.
When assessing the nominations, the committee will pay particular attention to:
- commitment to volunteer work
- innovation of activities
- ability to cooperate
- frequency and regularity of activities
- effectiveness and efficiency of work
- ability to engage and encourage others to volunteer.
