In the 10th round of the Jelenia Góra regional league, BKS Bolesławiec defeated Hutnik Pieńsk 5:3 (3:2). Saturday’s match was one of those crazy games, with sudden twists and turns. After 20 minutes, Bolesławiec were already losing 0:2. The visitors’ first goal came in the 6th minute, after an attack down the right side of the pitch, a cross and an unfortunate intervention by Krzysztof Dmuchowski, who headed the ball into his own net. In the 18th minute, euphoria broke out among the visitors after Dariusz Kowal scored after a second attempt.

In the 25th minute, Łukasz Graczyk began the comeback, making use of Krzysztof Lisowski’s precise pass and, after a run down the left side of the pitch, beating the visiting goalkeeper with a shot under the crossbar. It was 2:2 in the 33rd minute. Oskar Pochwała scored the goal, surprising the Hutnik goalkeeper with a shot from 20 metres. Just before half-time, Adrian Biały put BKS ahead 3:2. The player rose highest to meet Łukasz Graczyk’s cross and gave the goalkeeper no chance with a header.

In the 70th minute, the hosts led 4:2. This time, Adrian Kulesza converted Krystian Smolarek’s assist. After the goal, BKS became distracted, which the visitors immediately took advantage of. Just a minute after the hosts’ goal, Piotr Łagowski scored a goal to bring Hutnik back into the match. The final word, however, belonged to BKS. In the 85th minute, Patryk Pirożek set the final score, calmly sending the ball into the net after finding himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

BKS – Hutnik Pieńsk 5:3 (3:2). The victory strengthened our team’s position in second place in the regional league table. They are now just three points behind the leaders from Ruszów. In the next round, Bolesławiec will play away against Woskar Szklarska Poręba.
