On Monday, October 2, Mayor Rafał Gronicz and Deputy Head of the PKP Real Estate Trading Department Kamila Wieczysta signed an agreement to lease part of the PKP Zgorzelec Ujazd railway station, which is planned for revitalization.
The lease of part of the Zgorzelec Ujazd station by the Zgorzelec City Municipality, and its free allocation for purposes related to the performance of public tasks, was one of the conditions on which PKP S.A. made the modernization of the station and restoration of its full functionality dependent.
The agreement signed on October 2 allows the Municipality to grant the space rented from PKP for free use to the ZHP Zgorzelec Scout District Headquarters named after the Military Settlers. The scouts will set up a scout meeting room there for the increasingly numerous scout groups affiliated with the Zgorzelec district, which need a place for meetings and training.
