On Saturday, the 2nd Bolesławiec BeerPong Championship was held at Chata Myśliwska. As many as 23 teams entered the competition for the championship title. The higher turnout meant that the organizers had to provide more tables for the matches.
Training began at 6:00 p.m. The competitors could also familiarize themselves with the event regulations and have a commemorative photo taken. The sporting competition began a few minutes after 7:00 p.m. The teams were divided into four groups. Initially, the competition followed a round-robin format.
Then eight teams advanced to the next stage, in which a loss meant elimination from further play. The champions of Bolesławiec in the 2nd beer pong competition were Drink Team. Bombardierzy won the runner-up title. Third place on the podium went to Bronkersi.
In addition to the winners, the following teams took part in the championship: 108, Szminki, Skrytożerczy Browaropije, Tyży miele, Funky Ghetto, Gołda Team, Wóddyści, GRUBY i Chudy, Piorun Powerowa, Wygrani, Alcoholic Commando Bunzlau, Szubster Team, Laski Szmotruchów, Masta Blasta, Funk Master, Buratino, Kanapka Skład, Arka Gdynia, Family and Big Łyk.
The Bolesławiec beer pong championship was held for the second time. Twelve teams took part in the previous edition. “We sincerely thank everyone for coming in such large numbers and for the wonderful support,” said Jacek Niechajczyk from Chata Myśliwska, the championship organizer. “The atmosphere was wonderful. The matches were played at a very high level, and the final was worthy of being called the match of the tournament,” Łukasz Niechajczyk, the co-organizer, said after the event. The organizers thank everyone for taking part in the 2nd Bolesławiec BeerPong Championship. The next beer pong competition will be held next year in Poznań. “We will strive to make every subsequent competition as successful as the 2nd Bolesławiec Championship,” Jacek Niechajczyk added.
