In Bolesławiec, the wind has not caused any major damage so far. Apart from reports of a tree blown down on the grounds of the hospital on Jeleniogórska Street and a tree that fell onto the roof of a house in Osiecznica, the fire brigade has received no other calls.
The heavy rain, however, has caused visible damage. The storm drains could not keep up with draining the excess water. Some sections of streets were flooded, including, for example, the section shown beneath the railway underpass at Tamka and Kościuszki streets.
