At Działkowa Street, damaged concrete and asphalt surfaces were replaced with concrete paving blocks, and edging and curbs were installed. The investment cost approximately PLN 100,000. Meanwhile, on Horyzontalna Street, the damaged concrete surface, mainly destroyed by tree roots, was replaced with paving blocks. The cost of this repair was approximately PLN 32,000.
This year, sidewalks on Radosna and Świerkowa streets, as well as on Batorego, Wańkowicza, Gombrowicza, Gałczyńskiego, Staffa, Norwida, Okrzei, Działkowa and Horyzontalna streets, have already been reconstructed or repaired. The total value of these projects was approximately PLN 550,000.
This year's budget allocates approximately PLN 1.8 million for sidewalk reconstruction and repairs, excluding similar projects carried out as part of the Legnica Civic Budget. Under this scheme, the reconstruction of the sidewalk on Gwiezdna and Paderewskiego streets has been completed.
