Few customers know that Okrol provides warm installation. This installation method eliminates so-called thermal bridges that form at the junction between the wall and the window frame. It can effectively minimize heat loss.

Okrol carries out warm installation of windows and doors using

Illbruck warm-installation tapes—the process uses vapour-permeable and vapour-tight tapes that cover the polyurethane foam used to seal the window-to-wall junction. The tapes additionally protect the foam from erosion caused by moisture passing through it.
Expansion tapes made of polyurethane foam enriched with numerous impregnating agents and additives. After being unrolled and having the protective layer removed, the tape expands automatically under the influence of heat, fitting the shape of the frame profile perfectly. With this method, installation time is reduced to a minimum and is on average five times faster than installation using films and PU foam. Important: there are no temperature restrictions during installation, while the tape itself has stable UV resistance and is resistant to changing weather conditions, such as heavy rain of up to 600 Pa. TP650 illmod Trio tape is also an excellent acoustic barrier for the joint.
