During the June meeting of the City Council, independent councillor Dariusz Mucha asked about the sale of the Municipal Commune of Bolesławiec’s shares in the Local Television station “Azart-Sat”. (We covered the subject in our pages five years ago—in the article Officials will deal with the sale of Azart-Sat shares). The councillor noted that five years had already passed and asked what action the City had taken in this matter.

Iwona Mandżuk-Dudek, deputy mayor of Bolesławiec (mayor Piotr Roman was absent from Wednesday’s session): “As far as I know, these shares have been valued. I also know that a committee was appointed to sell these shares, but I am not a member of it. However, for the procedure for selling the shares to begin, a resolution of the shareholders’ meeting is required.”

It should be added that the chairman of the shareholders’ meeting is mayor Piotr Roman. In 2015, the company recorded a loss of more than PLN 58,000.
