48 skydives for his 48th birthday – this was the idea conceived by Tomasz Kozłowski, a psychologist and mountain rescuer from Bolesławiec. He put the idea into practice, helping 48 people and institutions along the way. (More about this campaign on the “Fakty TVN” website.) The 10th jump was dedicated to the Bolesławiec Children’s Home.

I remember how, 38 years ago, when I was 10, I was walking with my mother past the Children’s Home in Bolesławiec. Holding tightly to the person who loved me so much, I looked at a sad child watching us through the window. To this day, I remember how sorry I felt, because I knew that there were many little people there whose greatest dream was to have someone to hold hands with, someone to hug, and someone to call a parent.
That is why I am paying for the 10th jump myself, using my savings for it, and donating PLN 10,000, which will go to the Children’s Home in Bolesławiec.
