Four goals were seen by the fans during Saturday’s match, in which BKS’s senior team hosted LZS Łaziska. The first half was played at a sleepy pace. The weather certainly contributed to this. The temperature reached 29 degrees in the shade. No goals were scored in this part of the game. There was, however, a crossbar hit following a header by Paweł Rudkowski. The hosts had several chances but were unable to finish any of them effectively. Marek Majka came closest to scoring. However, the BKS striker delayed his shot and ultimately failed to take advantage of the opportunity.
In the second half, the match was opened by the outstanding Paweł Rudkowski. In the 51st minute, Paweł struck the near post and forced the visiting goalkeeper to concede. In the 71st minute, Marek Majka added his name to the scoresheet, converting an accurate pass from Oliwier Gasiak and placing the ball into the net with a gentle shot. In the 84th minute, it was already 3–0. After an individual move, Łukasz Graczyk scored. In the 87th minute, Łaziska’s consolation goal was scored by Hubert Łukasiewicz. Anyone who thinks Saturday’s victory came easily to Bolesławiec is mistaken. The BKS players had to work hard for the three points. It is worth mentioning that the hosts’ young goalkeeper, Jakub Walczak, made several effective interventions. BKS – LZS Łaziska 3:1 (0:0).
Next week, Bolesławiec will host Leśnik Osiecznica. Meanwhile, on Tuesday (6 June), in a friendly match, BKS will face the Polish Army National Team, which is attending a training camp in Bolesławiec. The match will be played at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street. Kick-off is scheduled for 18:30.
