Karol Stasik spoke about his decision in two informal conversations after a meeting with Civic Platform MPs. The head of Civic Platform in Bolesławiec County wants to leave politics and his position at the end of the current term.
Until now, Karol Stasik has been Bolesławiec’s deputy mayor, chair of the Bolesławiec County Council and president of the state-owned Zakłady Ceramiczne Bolesławiec when Civic Platform was in power in the country. He is currently the starosta, although he has not held the position since the beginning of the term.
