On Saturday, BKS’s senior team hosted GKS Kobierzyce. The rain made the pitch slippery and muddy. In the opening minutes, both teams took several long-range shots. In the 17th minute, Adrian Kulesza made an individual run. The BKS player was unable to beat the visiting goalkeeper, who cleared the ball beyond the end line. In the 25th minute, Bolesławiec’s team took the lead. After an attack down the left side of the pitch, Piotr Juszczak shot from a tight angle. The ball went past the goalkeeper, and then Krzysztof Szymański reached it. The Bolesławiec player confidently put the ball into the net. Fourteen minutes later, the visitors equalised. Wojciech Szymański took advantage of the confusion near the BKS penalty area, and Marek Przykłota had no chance. In the 45th minute, the hosts regained the lead. This time, Piotr Juszczak put his name on the scoresheet.

In the second half, the visitors tried at all costs to equalise. The players from Kobierzyce took many long-range shots. The pitch was slippery, and the ball could have played a trick on the goalkeeper. Bolesławiec’s team also did not give up attacking. Unfortunately, our players were wasteful in front of goal. In the 55th minute, Sławomir Iskrzak shot straight at the goalkeeper. Two minutes later, Piotr Juszczak produced a dangerous strike. The visitors’ goalkeeper managed to tip the ball, which was heading under the crossbar, over for a corner. From the 65th minute, BKS played with a numerical advantage. Tomasz Milewski brutally fouled Krzysztof Szymański, and the referee showed him a red card. In the 71st minute, Tomasz Jasiński missed a very good opportunity to extend the lead. The player was one-on-one with the goalkeeper but shot straight at him. The fans saw no more goals in Saturday’s match. BKS Bobrzanie defeated GKS Kobierzyce 2–1 and retained fifth place in the Lower Silesian IV League standings. Next week, our team will play the final round of matches away from home.
