Vouchers have been awarded. The order in which entries were received decided the winners. The vouchers, each worth PLN 30 and redeemable at the food trucks at Nowy Rynek Gallery on 19–21 May during the Food Truck Invasion, were received by: Martyna Goncerz, Monika Kazanowska, Izabela Szulkowska, Krzysztof Sroka, Mateusz Olesińsk, Oskar Grubizna, Grzegorz Przybylski, Agnieszka Merruszka, Krzysztof Dzikowicki and Sylwia Zembrzuska.
The Food Truck Invasion is an event featuring mobile bars and restaurants that will serve Nowy Rynek customers dishes from different regions of the world on 19–21 May. Almost 20 culinary offerings will await participants at the shopping centre entrance from the Tauron side, along with a specially prepared, comfortable chillout zone. The food trucks will offer, among other things: American burgers, hot dogs with surprising toppings, multigrain cone-shaped buns filled with Polish sausages or beef balls, steamed potatoes, Greek pitas, Hungarian langos, Asian dim sum dumplings, Turkish kebabs, juicy steaks made from seasonal sirloin, and aromatic burritos.
Fans of sweet flavours will be able to enjoy, among other things, bubble waffles with whipped cream, ice cream, fruit or cookies, as well as chocolate-covered fruit. In the Beer Zone, visitors will find a brand offering a subtle lager that pairs perfectly with the dishes served at the event. Lemonades in various flavours will also be available for refreshment. “The Food Truck Invasion at Nowy Rynek is a unique opportunity to try dishes from different parts of the world, taste something new, discover new favourite flavours and, above all, meet friends and have a great time. It is worth joining us. Great fun guaranteed,” says Anna Szlaga, marketing manager at Nowy Rynek.
Nowy Rynek regularly takes part in the life of the region. Previously, the shopping centre co-organised the largest New Year’s Eve party in Jelenia Góra. The celebration in the Town Hall Square attracted several thousand people. Nowy Rynek was also an official partner of Jelenia Góra’s Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Finale and hosted football players from MKS Karkonosze Jelenia Góra during their presentation.
