On Friday (12 May), an extremely solemn and important event in the life of the BKS Bolesławiec Football Academy took place in the conference room of the Zagłębie Lubin club. On that day, our Academy signed a partnership agreement with the KGHM Zagłębie Lubin Football Academy concerning the training of youth groups and monitoring the football market in central Poland. On behalf of BKS Bolesławiec, Maciej Sawicki. signed the document. Also present were BKS president Michał Lis and Krzysztof Kawałko. It was thanks to them that the cooperation was established. Alongside BKS Bolesławiec and Zagłębie Lubin, the clubs Zawisza Bydgoszcz and Górnik Wałbrzych also took part in signing the important agreement. They too became partners of the Lubin club.
The agreement, whose main aim is to raise the standard of training for children and young people, as well as to provide professional training based on a unified training programme, is another important step for the BKS Bolesławiec Academy towards even more effective development of young players from the region. Under the agreement, the clubs committed themselves to close cooperation in training and youth exchanges. As part of the cooperation, our coaches will be able to participate in training sessions, internships and courses organised by Zagłębie Lubin, and will have access to the partner’s training materials. BKS Bolesławiec will also be able to participate in youth tournaments organised by Zagłębie Lubin and will receive assistance in recruiting players for its youth structures. Thanks to the agreement, we have also been granted admission to Zagłębie Lubin senior-team matches at preferential prices. This will please the young members of our Academy, who have already taken part several times in trips organised by BKS Bolesławiec to Ekstraklasa matches.
The signing of the partnership agreement is an important and significant event for the BKS Bolesławiec Football Academy. It will make it possible to expand the training offer and strengthen the Academy’s leading position in the region in youth development. Let us hope that the effects of Friday’s event will soon become visible.
