On Saturday (29 April), BKS’s senior team hosted Górnik Węgliniec at Spółdzielcza Street. After their most recent defeat in Parzyce, Tomasz Fulczyński’s players, who were aiming for promotion to the regional league, could not afford to lose Saturday’s match. Sebastian Tylutki and Łukasz Graczyk were unavailable for BKS in Saturday’s game. The visitors from Węgliniec were also not at full strength. Several regular players were missing.
Both teams started the match very nervously, but the players from Bolesławiec settled into the game better. In the 4th minute, Marek Majka was fouled in Górnik’s penalty area. The sight briefly froze the home supporters. The BKS striker was playing his first match after a long break caused by a knee injury. Fortunately, the knee was not hurt by the foul. The referee pointed to the penalty spot. Sławomir Dul stepped up and beat the goalkeeper from Węgliniec with a shot into the left corner.

In the 39th minute, BKS were leading 2–0. Marek Majka added his name to the scoresheet. The BKS striker converted Mirosław Markowski’s assist and beat the visiting goalkeeper with a shot under the crossbar, making a brilliant return to the team after a long break. After scoring, the popular Maja did not celebrate, however. It is worth recalling at this point that he took his first footballing steps at Górnik Węgliniec. The players from Węgliniec initially claimed that the goal had been scored from an offside position, but the referee disagreed. In the second half, the supporters saw a lot of scrappy play. The visiting team launched several dangerous counterattacks and had a few chances to score, but no more goals were scored in the match. BKS defeated Górnik Węgliniec 2–0 (2–0). BKS will play its next match on 3 May in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki against the local GKS.
