Rainfall and a waterlogged pitch made things difficult for the BKS and Polonia Trzebnica players. Thursday’s match was the 13th round of the Lower Silesian fourth-division football competition. In the first half, neither team created many chances to score. Krzysztof Szymański appeared in the Trzebnica penalty area several times, but the player failed to threaten the visiting goalkeeper. In the 24th minute, Marcin Bobik took a dangerous shot at Marek Przykłota’s goal. However, the Bolesławiec goalkeeper was not caught off guard and confidently caught the ball. In the 34th minute, Piotr Juszczak found himself in a similar situation. Unfortunately, the BKS player sent the ball straight into the goalkeeper’s hands.
In the second half, the small crowd saw a more entertaining spectacle. In the 62nd minute, Sławomir Iskrzak shot at the visitors’ goal. The crossbar saved the visitors. In the 82nd minute, Piotr Juszczak passed to Tomasz Jasiński. In an excellent position, he shot straight at the goalkeeper.
Two minutes later, things became “heated” in front of the BKS goal. Marcin Siwek produced a shot that went just wide. In the 86th minute, Sebastian Tylutki shot at the Trzebnica goal. The ball, deflected by a ricochet, was heading toward the goal, but a visiting defender managed to clear it off the goal line. In the 89th minute, Sławomir Iskrzak made an individual run, dribbled past several opponents and was then fouled in the penalty area. The referee awarded a penalty without hesitation. Mateusz Muchaconverted the penalty into a goal. BKS Bobrzanie defeated Polonia Trzebnica 1–0 and moved up to fifth place in the league table. In their next match, the Bolesławiec team will face GKS Kobierzyce, while the reserve team will play a derby against Chrobry Nowogrodziec. The match in Nowogrodziec is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
