The result was better than the performance—this is how BKS’s victory over KS Łąka can be summed up in short. The match was played on Holy Saturday at the Łąka field. Bolesławiec made the better start and should have taken the lead as early as the 5th minute, but Sławomir Iskrzak, left unmarked in the penalty area, fired well wide. In the 11th minute, the hosts’ goalkeeper made a mistake, which was exploited by Łukasz Graczyk, who lobbed the ball into the net. BKS enjoyed the lead for exactly seven minutes. In the 18th minute, the equaliser was scored. Mariusz Nizioł put his name on the scoresheet.
The draw lasted until the 40th minute. BKS then took the lead again. This time, Sławomir Iskrzak did not waste his opportunity and scored for BKS with a shot under the crossbar. All that can be said about the second half is that it took place. The pitch was boring. Play took place in the middle of the pitch, and goal-scoring opportunities were few and far between. There were, however, plenty of inaccurate passes, wayward plays and chaos. Fortunately, the rain that had troubled both players and supporters in the first half stopped. The match ended in a 2:1 victory for BKS. On Sunday (23 April), BKS will face TS Parzyce away. Kick-off is at 14:00.

It is worth recalling that the footballer left a great deal of strength and health at the club, playing for it and representing Bolesławiec for many, many seasons. In 278 matches for BKS, Paweł Rissmann scored 128 goals, including 9 goals in 11 matches during the 2016/2017 season. “This season I wanted to score 20, but unfortunately I did not manage it,” the player told the istotne.pl service.
Asked whether this is the end of his active football career, he says that he has not yet had his final say... Paweł Rissmann is known not only to Bolesławiec supporters. The player also appeared for: Jawa Otok, Piast Wykroty, SV Edenkoben (Germany), Chojnowianka Chojnów, Chrobry Nowogrodziec, Twardy Świętoszów and GKS Warta Bolesławiecka. Paweł, thank you for playing for BKS and for Bolesławiec, and we wish you further success—not only on the sporting path.
