As Katarzyna Łabuz from the shopping-centre portal retailnet.pl wrote, the McDonald’s chain plans to build a 400-square-metre drive-thru restaurant in Bolesławiec. It will form part of the Handy shopping centre, which is to be located at the intersection of Kościuszki and Cieszkowskiego Streets, by national road no. 94.
As we read on the industry portal:
Handy shopping centres have been planned as small convenience retail facilities located in small and medium-sized Polish towns. The first project presented by Redmond Development will be Handy Park, located in Bolesławiec [...]. The facility was designed as a modern strip mall situated by the city’s most important transport hub.
The centre, Katarzyna Łabuz reports, will contain more than a dozen retail and service units. There will be a grocery store, a drugstore, a pharmacy, clothing, footwear and sports shops, as well as shops selling consumer electronics and household appliances. It is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2018.
