The ceremonial opening of the Bolesławiec parliamentary office of Zofia Czernow of Civic Platform took place on Friday, March 31. “Why am I opening a constituency office in Bolesławiec after five years? That is what we agreed with Janek Michalski, and later with Staszek Huskowski,” the MP explained. “But now the time has come for my office. I will try to be here as often as possible.”

The parliamentarian declared that she would cooperate with local-government officials and non-governmental organizations. Karol Stasik, Bolesławiec county head and Civic Platform chief in the county, said: “I am pleased that the MP is declaring what we have long expected: feedback. That representatives and decision-makers from Civic Platform want to listen to its members. There was once a difficult time when there was no need for contact with local Civic Platform activists. And what happened, happened.”

The county head added: “I remind you that the MP helped us during difficult moments for Bolesławiec. When the idea of abolishing the District Court emerged, it was, among other things, thanks to the MP’s firm stance that this did not happen.”

MP Zofia Czernow’s office will be open on Thursdays from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Civic Platform’s headquarters on Kościuszki Street in Bolesławiec.
