Three characteristic chimneys standing on the site slated for demolition will disappear from Bolesławiec’s panorama. The old buildings will also be dismantled. The company will save more than PLN 300,000 a year, including on property tax. The management also concluded that it would be easier to sell the plot without unnecessary structures.

Before World War II, the buildings slated for demolition belonged to the Hofman company. They were the largest works in the region and a rare surviving example of a plant producing technical ceramics.

The demolition work will take more than three months.
