An unfortunate accident occurred on Thursday (9 March) in a forest near Lubków. A 60-year-old resident of Gmina Warta Bolesławiecka was cutting down a tree in the forest. He had permission from the forester to do so. At one point, the tree crushed the man. The seriously injured 60-year-old was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Legnica.
