The draft of the new train timetable has appeared on the PKP Bolesławiec website. The timetable will take effect on December 14. There is still time to submit proposed changes to the draft. They should be sent to the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship (regional passenger trains) or to the headquarters of PKP Przewozy Regionalne (interregional express trains).
Positive changes in the draft of the new timetable include the restoration of a direct connection to Dresden and a weekend express train running on the Warsaw – Jelenia Góra – Warsaw route. Connections to Przemyśl (“Ślązak”) and Warsaw (“Sudety” instead of “Oleńka”) will also be maintained. The downside is that passenger trains will run less frequently, and the last direct train from Wrocław to Bolesławiec will depart at 6:44 p.m. (currently 8:12 p.m.).
