Before 4:00 p.m., three vehicles collided on Łokietka Street: two passenger cars and a city bus. Fortunately, no one was injured in the collision.
The driver of the navy-blue Audi was travelling from the direction of the tax office and was turning left onto Orla Street. According to the driver's account, he was following a white van and began turning when the van's driver was passing a road obstacle—a repaired manhole—and was in the opposite lane. Unfortunately, at that moment, the driver of a burgundy Audi was approaching from the opposite direction.
The driver of the burgundy Audi was unable to brake and struck the side of the navy-blue Audi. The turning car was pushed into the bus stopped at the intersection. Fortunately, none of the passengers was injured.
Autumn weather and falling rain are making life difficult for drivers. In addition, traffic at the intersection where the collision occurred is hampered by a structure protecting a sewer manhole. To pass the repaired manhole, drivers travelling from the direction of the tax office have to enter the opposite lane.
