The event was organized and coordinated by Monika Grzyb. The invited guests were councillors Łukasz Jaźwiec and Dariusz Filistyński, as well as Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz. In the Market Square, the city’s Santas read stories about the Christmas adventures of “Filonek Bezoogonek” and “The Children of Bullerbyn.”
The event was attended by students with their teachers: class II C with Beata Wysocka, II D with Monika Grzyb, III A with Renata Sobko, as well as children accompanied by their parents who came to the Christmas celebration. The readers received commemorative thank-you gifts, while the children received sweets and Santa stickers.
Primary School No. 2 organizes many reading events for children. Everyone understands perfectly well that reading not only makes time more enjoyable, but also develops imagination, curiosity about the world and vocabulary.
