Among nearly 7,500 entries, the committee (composed of: dr hab. Andrzej Dąbrowski, professor at the University of Szczecin; dr hab. Maciej Tanaś, professor at the capital city’s Academy of Special Education; mgr Jerzy Kołodziejczyk, mgr inż. Tomasz Seidler and dr hab. Małgorzata Makiewicz, professor at the University of Szczecin) selected the winners and honourable mentions. Two photographers from Bolesławiec were among them, in the adult category. Grzegorz Sidorowicz won second prize for “Squaring the Circle”, while Michał Medyński received an honourable mention for “Rectangle Field”.

The organiser of the competition, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Minister of National Education, the Ombudsman for Children, the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, the Mayor of Szczecin, the Rector Magnificus of the University of Szczecin, the West Pomeranian Education Superintendent and the President of the XX Czartoryski Foundation, was the University of Szczecin.
