We wrote four days ago that the prosecutor’s office was investigating the case of the theft of products from Zakłady Ceramiczne Bolesławiec. The value of the stolen goods was estimated at approximately one million złotys.
As we have learned, today Wiesław Ogrodnik found gold bars hidden in the sofa for guests in the president’s office. Apparently, everyone who sat on that sofa was dismissed, so the piece of furniture was not popular. Ogrodnik sat on it by accident; it seemed suspiciously uncomfortable to him. He began pressing the seat and felt regular shapes.
After the sofa’s upholstery was ripped open, six one-kilogram gold bars were found inside. Their estimated value is approximately one million złotys.
The police and prosecutor’s office are currently examining the bars and the sofa.
