Our heroine Basia lives in Iwiny, but works in Bolesławiec at NZZ Provita and is raising two daughters. Basia’s decision to take part in the Makeovers was spontaneous: she saw an article on istotne.pl and decided to submit an application. She did not tell anyone about it and surprised everyone by informing her loved ones that she had been accepted into the program.
Basia has Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune thyroid disease. The disease causes constant fatigue, insomnia, irritability, weight fluctuations and generally poor well-being.
Damian Śliwiński, a personal trainer from Fit Style Ruch&Zdrowie, says that Hashimoto’s is an increasingly common problem among women. In such cases, a comprehensive approach is needed. Training and diet must be combined. Basia does not have to worry about motivation—the trainer takes responsibility for motivating his client to exercise and make changes.
Aneta Jakieła suggested a light hairstyle and cut Basia’s hair. The hairstyle is easy to maintain; she also darkened the roots, making Basia’s face more defined.
Beautician Magdalena Brzezińska of Boleslavia Beauty (formerly Efekt) focused on the makeup, covering and minimizing skin imperfections. She suggested ideal makeup for an ordinary day at work for any woman who lacks time for lengthy beauty treatments.
We suggested an outfit from the Ryłko store at Galeria Bolesławiec City Center, tailored to Basia’s figure and matching her temperament. Sabina Hil, an artist who creates unique jewelry, helped us choose the styling.
Basia’s hair was styled by Aneta Jakieła from AJ Studio Fryzjerskie, located at 1/2 Piaskowa Street in Bolesławiec. If you would like to get in touch by phone, call 695 625 736.
