At Monday’s session, the current county head will resign. Dariusz Kwaśniewski will do so because he has been suffering from a progressive neurological disease for a year. In connection with his decision, councillors will elect a new head of the county. According to the coalition recently formed between the Civic Platform, Roman’s associates, the SLD and independent councillors, the Civic Platform will put forward the candidate for county head.
Our unofficial information indicates that the Civic Platform will put forward Karol Stasik, the current chairman of the council, head of the Civic Platform in the county and former president of Zakłady Ceramiczne Bolesławiec.
Karol Stasik does not wish to comment on our reports.
We were the first to write about the distribution of positions in the county office at the beginning of November, in the article Roman may govern the county, Kwaśniewski is leaving.
