Bait containing the vaccine will be dropped from aircraft outside built-up areas. Please do not touch, pick up or destroy the distributed bait.
From 25 to 30 September 2008, the following rules apply throughout the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:
- a ban on hunting game with dogs
- a ban on allowing dogs and cats to roam freely
- an obligation to keep farm dogs tethered and cats indoors
Any instance of human contact with the distributed vaccine must be reported to the health services, while contact between animals and the bait must be reported to the veterinary services.
Please exercise particular caution during the vaccination campaign.
