died.Let us recall: on Tuesday, 25 October, on provincial road 352 (from Bogatynia to Zgorzelec), a speeding passenger car collided head-on with a truck. The tragedy occurred in Działoszyn (Bogatynia municipality). For unknown reasons, the passenger-car driver crossed into the opposite lane, directly into the path of the truck.
The 44-year-old passenger-car driver and his three children, aged 6, 11 and 13, died at the scene. The truck driver did not suffer serious injuries.
The same day, the body of the passenger-car driver’s wife was also found in an apartment in Zgorzelec. Police found her body when they came to inform her about the tragedy in which her husband and children had died. The apartment door was locked. A decision was made to break it down.
Investigators are determining the causes of the family tragedy. Various possibilities are being considered: from an unfortunate accident and suicide to so-called extended suicide.
On Wednesday, 26 October, RMF FM reported that the woman died as a result of four blows to the head inflicted with a blunt object. It is not yet known who murdered the 44-year-old woman. It was established, however, that at the time of the accident the passenger car may have been traveling at 150 km/h. The driver did not brake, and the children were not wearing seat belts.
