In September 2007, we reported that an unknown perpetrator had uploaded to YouTube a video showing photographs of the buildings of the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych in Bolesławiec, along with captions praising the school. Two controversial scenes were inserted into the material, including a scene of oral sex. The video was available on the YouTube website for approximately 19 hours, during which time almost 700 people watched it. The video was taken down following intervention by our portal.
In February, we reported that the Bolesławiec prosecutor’s office had filed an indictment against Mateusz P., who at the time was a graduating student at the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych. The accused pleaded not guilty and refused to give testimony. At the end of August this year, a verdict was handed down in the case. The young man was found guilty of publicly presenting a film containing pornographic content. “The court sentenced him to two months of restriction of liberty,” Janina Jakubiec, president of the District Court in Bolesławiec, told the IstotneInformacje.pl portal. Mateusz P. is to perform 60 hours of community service, cleaning the city.
