A few minutes after the first half began, an incident occurred in the stands. A group of local supporters decided to “visit” the away section. Around a dozen BKS fans managed to enter the so-called cage, the area designated for visiting supporters. A handful of Polonia fans managed to escape toward the dressing rooms by jumping over a high fence. Following mediation by police officers and the head of security, supporters of both teams returned to their sections.

The first half of the match was not particularly entertaining. There were few attacks from either the visitors or the hosts. In the 15th minute, the referee called Halkowicz offside. In the 17th minute, Demczar took a shot, but after the header the ball went wide of the visitors’ goalpost. The Polonia players also created few dangerous chances. Apart from several crosses and one dangerous shot, the visitors did not threaten Przykłota’s goal.

In the 27th minute, Pietkiewicz missed an excellent opportunity. He found himself one-on-one with the visiting goalkeeper, who managed to take the ball from under the BKS striker’s feet. The visitors responded with a counterattack but lost the ball in our team’s penalty area. A moment later, after a cross from the visitors, the BKS goalkeeper was forced to punch the ball away. In the 35th minute, Węgłowski dribbled past several Polonia players and then tried to pass to his teammates running in. The Polonia goalkeeper managed to catch the slippery ball with great difficulty. In the 36th minute, Pietkiewicz once again had a chance to score, but his header went straight into the goalkeeper’s hands.

The second half began with BKS attacks. In the 46th minute, Szewczyk found himself in a good position. However, he failed to beat the Polonia goalkeeper, who kicked the ball away. In the 53rd minute, Halkowicz received the ball by chance. Without hesitation, he shot, but the ball struck a visiting player in the head. Despite lengthy spells of passing and numerous chances, our players could not change the score. After the 57th minute, the visitors launched several dangerous attacks. However, their shots were inaccurate and too weak to threaten Przykłota’s goal.

In the second half, BKS supporters once again made their presence felt, deciding to cheer on the team in the immediate vicinity of the Trzebnica supporters. There were mutual provocations, expressed through vulgar chants. Fearing for their safety, the visiting supporters left the stadium without watching the match to the end.

In the 66th minute, BKS scored the much-awaited goal. It was scored by Halkowicz, who confidently beat the Polonia goalkeeper after a good pass from Rudyk. The joy of scoring was overshadowed by a shoulder injury suffered by one of the BKS players. After an unfortunate fall, Nitarski, the captain of the Bolesławiec team, was taken to hospital. From the moment the goal was scored, the match became much livelier.

In the 75th minute, BKS scored a second goal. This time Halkowicz provided the assist, and the goal was credited to Węgłowski. There could have been further goals in the match, but the BKS players failed to take advantage of their opportunities.

Halkowicz, who was very active and prominent in this match, and goalkeeper Przykłota, who kept a clean sheet until the end, both had good games. Ultimately, BKS Bolesławiec defeated Polonia Trzebnica 2–0 at home.
