BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec began the new season unluckily. After losing to Prochowiczanka Prochowice (2:3), the Bolesławiec side lost their match in Złotoryja. Saturday’s meeting with Górnik ended 0:1. The hosts scored the winning goal in the 90th minute. Adam Popecki was the scorer. Bolesławiec wasted several good scoring opportunities in the match. In the first half, Paweł Rissmann hit the crossbar. After the break, Sławomir Iskrzak was unsuccessful with his attempts at the Górnik goal. Paweł Rissmann also failed to convert a second opportunity. Błażej Rajchel also had a chance to score, but his shot struck a defender.
The hosts took advantage of a mistake by the BKS defenders and won the match. After two rounds, BKS Bobrzanie are 14th in the league table. Next Wednesday (20 August), our team will host Lechia Dzierżoniów. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
The reserve team defeated Włókniarz Mirsk
On Sunday, BKS’s reserve team began its campaign in the regional league. Thanks to goals from Kozioł, Jasiński and Lechowski, the Bolesławiec side defeated Włókniarz Mirsk 3:2. After the first round, the team are fourth in the league table.
