The University of the Third Age in Bolesławiec offers foreign-language classes, basic computer skills, rehabilitative gymnastics, painting, music and psychology workshops, lectures, as well as social integration events, sightseeing trips and outings to the theater and opera.
Enrollment for classes at the University of the Third Age at the Bolesławiec Branch Teaching Center of the Wrocław University of Economics for the 2008/2009 academic year will take place from July 1 to August 22, 2008.
The university dean’s office (38c Jana Pawła II Street, room 6, tel. 075 734 15 51) is open Monday through Thursday, from 07:30 to 12:00. Those enrolling must bring an identity document and a pensioner’s or disability pension recipient’s ID card.
A month of study at the University of the Third Age costs PLN 40 (4 hours of classes per week). In addition, an enrollment fee of PLN 10 must be paid.
