On Saturday, BKS Bobrzanie hosted Orla Wąsosz. Before the match began, board members, officials, players and supporters ceremonially said farewell to BKS coach – Marcin Ciliński. The coach received a commemorative cup from the board and a shirt bearing his name from the players. Marcin Ciliński worked in Bolesławiec for four seasons. It was with him that the team won promotion to the IV liga in the 2003/2004 season.
The final match ended in a draw
The first half was dull. The visitors tried to attack, but little came of it. Supporters watched inaccurate shots and a lot of play in the middle of the pitch. In the 22nd minute, Grzegorz Nowak tried to surprise the visiting goalkeeper. His shot was inaccurate, however. Two minutes later, Chrystian Serkies failed to take advantage of a good opportunity. The visiting goalkeeper punched the ball out for a corner.
In the 50th minute, Bolesławiec almost conceded a goal. Paweł Demczar cleared the ball straight to a visiting player. Fortunately, a defender blocked his shot, and the rebound was inaccurate. Unfortunately, in the 60th minute, after a quick move down the right side of the pitch, Orla took the lead. Andrzej Kauch beat Sebastian Łokaj. In the 76th minute, Chrystian Serkies hit the visitors’ post. Bolesławiec tried at all costs to equalise. They succeeded in the 80th minute. Kamil Mielnik scored to make it 1–1. The BKS player once again confirmed his footballing ability. His shot from 16 metres, straight into the top corner, was unstoppable.
Late in the match, BKS could have made it 2–1, but after Paweł Rissmann’s header the ball struck the post. BKS Bobrzanie drew 1–1 with Orla Wąsosz and remained in 8th place in the IV liga table. BKS Bobrzanie’s lineup was: Sebastian Łokaj (in goal), Robert Nitarski, Paweł Demczar, Błażej Rajchel-yellow card, Marek Kumoś, Krzysztof Letko-yellow card (Piotr Stańko), Grzegorz Nowak, Mateusz Mucha (Marcin Ogórek), Kamil Mielnik, Chrystian Serkies, Paweł Rissmann.
