The competition for the most beautiful balcony and the most colorful garden, organized by the Mayor of the City and the Towarzystwo Miłośników Bolesławca for the tenth time, was entered by 35 people. After summarizing the results of three inspections carried out during the summer, the jury, consisting of two representatives of the City Office and two representatives of the Towarzystwo Miłośników Bolesławca, selected the winners.
In the “Most Beautifully Flowered Balcony” category
- 1st place – Renata Pilarczyk (PLN 500)
- 2nd place – Michalina Skóra (PLN 300)
- 3rd place – Lilianna Bortnik (PLN 200)
Four equal distinctions were awarded to: Ludwika Mordosewicz, Grażyna Słotwińska, Jan Fukas and Alicja Medyńska.
In the category “Most Beautiful Flower Garden in a Multi-Family Residential Area”
- 1st place – Grażyna Wośko (PLN 500)
- 2nd place – Andrzej Leński (PLN 300)
- 3rd place – Józefa Owarzana and Krystyna Raszka (PLN 200)
Additionally, equal distinctions were awarded to the gardens of Roman Grzegorzewski, Władysława Szemberska, Urszula Benesz and Bernarda Żelisko.
In the category “Most Beautiful Garden in a Single-Family Residential Area”
- 1st place – Barbara Ornowska (PLN 500)
- 2nd place – Andrzej Szulc (PLN 300)
- 3rd place – Stanisława Raszkiewicz and Maria Maciaszek (PLN 200)
Three equal distinctions were awarded to Anna Stasiak, the Monastery of the Sisters Adorers of the Blood of Christ and Piotr Kaziuk.
All the people receiving distinctions were awarded cash prizes of PLN 100.
