An indoor football tournament will be held on 29 March 2008 at the sports hall by I Liceum Ogólnokształcące. The proceeds from the competition will go toward the treatment of Antoś Kasperek, who suffers from metachromatic leukodystrophy. Teams wishing to take part in the tournament can register by phone (Przemysław Klarecki: 662 670 390 or Łukasz Król: 503 191 529) or by email: lukasz.krol@onet.eu.
The tournament is primarily intended for companies and public organizations from Bolesławiec. To participate, teams must register (5 to 10 people) and pay a symbolic fee, which will be used for the treatment of the young resident of Bolesławiec.
The competition will be played in a knockout and group format. Each match will last 2 x 8 minutes. The three best teams will receive trophies, while the others will receive certificates. The tournament’s best scorer and goalkeeper will also be selected.
The organizers hope that people of goodwill will come forward to support this initiative.
