Before noon, at the intersection of Podgórna and Garncarska streets, a passenger car hit a boy. The child probably ran into the road, directly in front of an approaching Ford Fiesta. Fortunately, the boy did not suffer serious injuries. An ambulance took him to hospital for observation.

The police appeal for caution—not only to drivers, but also to pedestrians. People often cross roads at unmarked locations. A photograph submitted by one of our Readers shows an example of such behaviour.
The photograph shows a woman crossing the road near the place where a car hit the boy. The woman is “not bothered” even by the presence of a police officer determining the circumstances of the incident described above...
