The region’s delegates unanimously elected new leadership. Łukasz Wyszkowski, an aide to the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship representing a Wrocław branch, became chairman of Lower Silesia. Bolesławiec resident Wojciech Kasprzyk was re-elected vice-chairman.
Grzegorz Przybylski became a member of the Lower Silesian Regional Board. Members of the Lower Silesian Region Convention are Łukasz Król, Paweł Przybylski, Mariusz Ruchała, Kamil Wiśniewski and Mateusz Techmański. Daniel Milewicz was elected vice-chairman of the peer court. Bolesławiec resident Krzysztof Rybak also joined the court. Przemysław Klarecki became chairman of the audit committee, with Patryk Skłodowski and Marcin Kupiński as its members. They all represent SMD Bolesławiec.
Bolesławiec residents are the second-largest group of activists in Lower Silesia’s SMD, after those from Wrocław. As a result, they have a significant influence on the association’s policy in the region. Elections for the national leadership will be held on 1 March. Bolesławiec will be represented at the congress by Wojciech Kasprzyk, Łukasz Król and Grzegorz Przybylski.
