The match began with attacks from the team from Bolesławiec. In the 6th minute, Radosław Pietkiewicz came close to scoring, but after a pass from Tomasz Fulczyński he shot wide of the post. In the 19th minute, Andrzej Węgłowski found himself in a similar situation, but he also failed to hit the target. The players from Brzeg did not create as many scoring opportunities as BKS.

After several unsuccessful attacks, our players began to play very cautiously, quickly retreating to their own half. They had difficulty launching counterattacks because the forwards were not creating situations in which the ball could be passed to them effectively. The players from Brzeg often had possession, but their good play ended around the edge of the BKS penalty area. The majority of the visitors’ attacks were effectively broken up by our team’s defense.

In the 23rd minute, Radosław Pietkiewicz failed to take advantage of a good opportunity. With only the goalkeeper in front of him, he was unable to score. A moment later, the visitors also had a chance. After a foul on one of their players, they took a shot at goal, but the ball struck the BKS wall. In the 29th minute, a Brzeg player handled the ball in the visitors’ penalty area. The referee awarded a penalty, which Radosław Pietkiewicz converted. The score remained 1–0 to Bolesławiec until half-time.

Seeking to change the unfavorable result, the players from Brzeg began to play more boldly. As early as the 49th minute, a shot from the visitors narrowly missed Marek Przykłota’s goalpost. In the 52nd minute, after a fine cross from Marcin Ciliński, Paweł Fulczyński headed wide. In the 62nd minute, Marcin Ciliński unleashed a powerful shot from around 30 meters. The visiting goalkeeper struggled to tip the ball over the crossbar. From that moment on, the BKS players began attacking with increasing confidence.

In the 63rd minute, Radosław Pietkiewicz was slightly unlucky. His shot struck the post. In the 74th minute, Grzegorz Nowak found himself in a good position. He headed the ball, but it did not find the net. In the 76th minute, following a good pass from Andrzej Węgłowski, Tomasz Jasiński scored Bolesławiec’s second goal.

The visiting team’s players tried to score a consolation goal, but the hosts, buoyed by the favorable result, did not allow them to do so. From then on, BKS were the dominant team. In the 85th minute, Marek Przykłota saved a powerful shot from the visitors. Near the end of the match, the referee disallowed a third goal for BKS, ruling that our player had been offside. Ultimately, the match ended 2–0 to BKS.
